피카사 리눅스버젼 등장

Channy님의 새로운 tistory의 블로그에 Google Picasa의 리눅스버젼이 나왔다는 소식을 듣고 재빨리 확인을 해 보았습니다.

아니다다를까, 구글 공식 블로그에 관련 글이 포스팅 되었군요.

It incorporates nearly all the features of the current Windows version of Picasa, providing you with the tools you need to easily find, edit, and share the photos on your computer. And because it runs on a carefully tested version of Wine, Picasa avoids the slowing effects of an OS emulation or a virtual machine.

하지만 현재 Picasa Linux 페이지는 접속되지 않고 있습니다.

친절하게도 Rogers가 직접 다운받을 수 있는 링크를 공개했군요. Channy님의 블로그에도 올라와 있습니다.

Linux의 윈도우 에뮬레이팅 환경인 Wine을 기반으로 하고, 개발은 Open Source Programs 팀이 맞는 것 같습니다. 역시 Google Labs에서 나온 것이군요.
